作物生物技术系
王桂凤,博士,河南省特聘教授,澳大利亚新英格兰大学兼职教授,博士生导师。
任CIMMYT-中国(河南)小麦玉米联合研究中心副主任、黄淮海南部玉米生物学与遗传育种重点实验室主任。
主要从事作物籽粒产量、品质和生殖发育相关的遗传机理解析及新品种选育工作。解析了CRK1Opaque1DEK40等20个调控玉米籽粒品质、产量及胚乳发育基因的分子机制;阐明玉米胚乳储藏蛋白合成、运输及装配形成蛋白体的分子路径,发现线粒体能量代谢和胚乳蛋白质稳态是影响光合产物源库流、籽粒灌浆的限制因子,揭示雄配子siRNAs调控胚乳印记基因表达和胚乳发育的跨代表观遗传机制;为玉米籽粒性状的分子改良提供了重要基因资源和技术支撑。
以通讯或第一作者在Molecular Plant、Developmental Cell、Plant Cell、Trends in Plant Science、New Phytologist等期刊发表学术论文19篇,被引用1200余次(谷歌学术)。担任Plant Cell、Plant Physiology、Journal of Integrative Plant Biology、Plant Communications等10余个植物科学期刊审稿人。
先后入选上海市浦江人才、河南省科技创新杰出青年、河南省特聘教授、河南省教育厅学术技术带头人、河南省高层次人才、“中原千人计划”中原基础研究领军人才等荣誉。
